Fall Porch

I think I am finally happy with my fall porch this year. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that the pumpkin seeds I planted, weren’t the pumpkins that grew! The packages said Baby Boo, and Porcelain Doll ….what I ended up with were Patty Pan squash (still white like Baby Boos, but squash!) and Jarrahdale pumpkins (not pink like Porcelain Doll pumpkins, but green!)….not a happy camper. I was so looking forward to covering my porch with them. Oh well, there are way worse things than the wrong colour pumpkins! On to plan B.

my bucket of squash (not the baby boo’s that I thought I planted, but oh well! haha

I started with putting a pink quilt on the daybed. Quilts always invoke a sense of cozy. I piled all the squash in one of my painted wash tubs. It looks like there are tons of squash, which there is, but they are laying on pine cones, to make it look full.

The old vintage wicker chair came out of the barn, to take it’s place by the door. My straw broom came from the Dollar Store…and the vintage dust pan was given to me by my friend’s mom. I was telling her that I was on the hunt for one, and she was sure her mom had one in her basement! Two days later, it was gifted to me! I think the copper colour is wonderful!!!

Fall Porch
Look for old knitted throws at thrift stores…they are perfect for the porch!

I left my two vintage chairs on the porch, but added a throw. (I am always purchasing knitted throws from thrift stores to add to the porch.)

Bistro set on the very end of the porch

My porch is a wrap around, and on the North side it doesn’t get a whole lot of sun. I don’t put any mums on that side except on my bistro set at the end of the porch, since it gets some sunlight through the pergola.

My porch swing has a quilt made by my late mother in law….and the textured pillow covers are from thrift stores. On the farmhouse table, I either have flowers from the garden or an ivy. And I always have my candle from Cottage Candle Company.

My little wagon (my dad found it on the roadside a few years ago) is the perfect spot to pile little pumpkins, or squash haha.

Fall Porch

My porch is one of my favourite places to decorate! It’s something what some pumpkins and mums spread around with do!..it just says FALL! (a little side note, all the pumpkins besides the green ones and the white squash, I purchased. Next year I will try again to grow the variety I wanted haha) Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed my fall porch tour! Time to get cozy! Happy decorating!

Your fall porch is so pretty and inviting. All itโ€™s missing is your three cute kitties, didnโ€™t see even one๐Ÿ˜ป. I love shopping thrift stores for porch decor, nothing is too pricey or precious in case accidents happen!
