I don’t know about you, but the change of seasons is a good time for a fresh start. Whether it’s eating better, rethinking how a room will function, or cleaning out a space and organizing it!
My cupboards had got out of hand. Over the summer, things were piled in there, only to be forgotten. I was too busy outside to worry about them. So when Talented Kitchen contacted me and wondered if I would be interested in a set of their pantry stickers, I knew this was the push I needed to get my cupboards organized! They have so many styles available, it was hard to choose. Ultimately, I chose the chalkboard Pantry labels. What I love about them is they are reusable (I never keep anything the same!) and they have blank ones that you could write on. It wasn’t long and an entire set came in the mail, pre printed, ready to go! (As soon as I decide on a project, I want it finished yesterday, so I was thankful they didn’t take long at all to ship to my door! haha)
I wanted my pantry items to be stored in glass jars. I purchased these.. And when I saw these screw on lids for the jars, I had to have them!! They are such a great idea, and work wonderful!!!

First step was to clean everything out of the cupboards. Mine were pretty bad, and I have to admit that I found one item with an expiry date of 2013. (embarrassing, please no judging!)
After wiping down all the shelves, I began to put things in the jars with the appropriate labels. My goal was to have everything in a container…no more open bags with twist ties!! The food just spoils and it’s so hard to store.

I kept all the baking items together in one spot, all the lunch things in another etc. Store items in the places that make sense to you! I ended up peeling off a couple labels and putting them on different jars as I went along (so thankful they are reusable!!!)
I am so thankful for Talented Kitchen labels! My cupboards have never been this organized! Every label I needed, they had available in my package, and I have tons yet to be used! What a great feeling to open the cupboard door and see what we have and need, and no more wasting food! Now I am ready to tackle my “decor” room…..maybe…
